But it's only 5:45am!

After we got out of Heathrow with no hassles, we had a fairly low key day and evening.
Leaving the airport we noticed the many plane spotters. We asked Ross if they were around for a special event and he replied, "it is normal, the plane spotters are there every day." It was very interesting to see all these people sitting on their outdoor chairs with binoculars and telephoto lenses pointing to the sky. In all there were probably about 20 all up looking at the planes in ore.

On the way to the Millards, where we are staying, it was decided to have an impromptu stop at Bushy Park to have an ice-cream and look at the deer. Bushy Park is a lovely place close to Hampton Court Palace and is a haven for all with love for the outdoors. It is also one of the only places where the animals are allowed to roam free and the humans are penned in.  Basically the cafe is inside a fenced area where only people are allowed in and the animals are permitted to roam the fields.

Bushy Park was also the location we saw our first beagle only 2 hours after touchdown. As any one would expect this beagle loved to bark at anything that moved at all times with nose to the ground.

That evening we went to The Albany in Thames Ditton, this is a lovely place directly alongside The Thames and didn't disappoint our dining desires.

Finally we ended by crashing around 9:30PM

"But it's only 5:45am"

These were the first words we both said to each other when we woke this morning bright eyed. With no chance of returning to sleep it was time to get up and have some breakfast.  Then followed by a lovely walk through and around the East Molesey area. Being the first day of the long weekend it was very quiet, no one was around apart from the white swans, squirrels and this little fellow.
